An Evening of Music by Vegan Musicians in Support of
FRIEND Farm Animal Sanctuary

FUND RAISING EVENING
SAT | 28 JULY | 7.30pm | £10+b/f (adv) £12 OTD

We have organised a wonderful night of musically eclectic delights in support of this well-deserved animal sanctuary.

We treat you to a mix of rising stars all of whom are committed to social or environmental change through either their music, way of life, or a collaboration of both!

Juha | focusing on social consciousness, Juha is party music for the post-Brexiit blues whilst affirming the lives and accomplishments of “one hit wonders” from the 80’s, in a sonic stewpot of electronic soul, world music, and new wave.

Eden and the Aftermath | Wood Green based guitar/cello duo presenting a mixture of vocal harmonies and rap.  Expect finely crafted original songs with sweeping cello tones, resonant lyrics and bluesy guitar hooks.

Queen V | Singer/Songwriter sculpts beautiful and powerful melodies around candid lyrics | VegFestUK FxEctive Factor 2018 Winner.  Hot on the heels of her debut single, Only One Life, carries an important message: to reach as many people as possible to try to extinguish all unnecessary pain and suffering in this world.  Watch out for this live debut at Karamel!

Tally Spear | Singer/Songwriter featured on BBC Radio London, she fuses Greenwich-Village-style folk influences with a British, somewhat ‘pop’ sound… a fantastic opportunity to see this wonderful new and emerging singer who is getting prime airplay and before she hits the Vegan Camp-Out 2018 Festival!

Please join us for this unique night of quality entertainment to support a well-deserved cause.

Proceeds of ticket sales go to FRIEND Farm Animal Sanctuary
Any further cash donations on the night will go directly to FRIEND.

Lords & Ladies of Misrule Soiree

He rolls into town drunk as a skunk trembling Chihuahua on his shoulder and rattle snakes for scarves.

He winks at the sun and collapses in paroxysms of laughter as the gullible gather round to buy his dubious wares he is the ‘Medicine Man’ curled up under the stars and the Appellation moon.

He is our April Fool, the Duke of Disorder, the paradise quack of chaos and we will be dancing the hallucinogenic hoedown with him at our Medicinal April Fool Soiree.

Our very own Lord of Misrule Mr Alfie Thomas will be guiding the proceedings, a fabulous line-up which includes:

  • Lady Lovely Lute aka Stephanie Feeney who will whisper Medieval somethings in your ear, she will lull you into a false sense of sweetness and drop some Belladonna in your tea,

NORTH LONDON SHOWCASE WITH RORY BUTLER, AMAROUN AND ALEX HEDLEY

Karousel Music presents a North London Showcase.  Announcing a new season back at their original venue in Wood Green – Karamel, deep in the heart of Chocolate Factory 2. Karousel Music are curating the first lineup, and then from thereon the artists are curating with their support. Get ready for Pat Dam Smyth’s lineup in July. But first… what a start here tonight!

It’s really important to Karousel Music that they nurture the community not just at the industry events in central London; but also support those nights that traditionally are the artists’ favourite nights off the beaten track. Teaming up once more with Collage Arts, who have made it possible to continue to give 100% to the artists by covering the sound and room hire.

The venue is a 5 min walk from Wood Green tube on the Piccadilly Line (only 20 mins from King’s Cross, 40 mins from Brixton) and is the same from Alexandra Palace overground (15 mins from Old St, 12 mins from Highbury and Islington) and is a stone’s throw from Muswell Hill, Turnpike Lane and Crouch End.
