This Is Me Exhibition

Jazz at Karamel: Alex Merritt/Steve Fishwick Quintet

This recently formed band is an exciting collaborative project between Alex and Steve and also Matt Fishwick(drums), John Turville (piano) and Mick Coady (bass). The band plays arrangements of Jazz Standards by the group and frequently explores the music of Kenny Dorham/ Joe Henderson, John Coltrane and Lennie Tristano/ Warne Marsh. For our last Collage Nights before the summer, we serve up an evening of eclectic entertainment, ft. jazz-fusion looper Magdalena Grabher, who is coming over from Austria to play Collage, looping layers and layers of vocals over electronic sound.
